... the orange field ...

A few weeks back (before it got rainy)

we hopped on Redwood Highway and made our way out of town!

We had some time and decided we wanted to explore!

We drove for a bit, and as we drove and talked and watched

out the window, we saw this beautiful field!

We took the turn off so that we could explore a little more, and this is what we found!

We looked and looked for signs to try to figure out exactly what was growing in this field ...

... but we couldn't find anything indicating what it is!
We even came home and googled 'orange field' near Cave Junction, Oregon,
but we came up blank.

So we have no idea what it is (maybe a vineyard??), but we are in love with it,
and we are so glad that we happened up on it before the rain came
and turned it's colors from orange to something 'winter' ish!

On our way back home, we turned down another road, and look at what we found:

Sleepy Hollow Loop and Ichabod Lane!

We had a wonderful, beautiful drive on this random day off of Nate's -
it was lovely and exactly what we needed at the time!!
