April Showers

So, this last month has been super busy! In between recovering from getting my wisdom teeth out (FYI, my bottom lip and chin are STILL numb), Nate getting some kind of virus that turned into an ear infection and pink eye, Nate's mom visiting, a funeral, and life, we feel like April has kind of slipped away from us!

Tu-Tu's


While Nate was attempting to feel better, I decided to get crafty and made these super cute tu-tu's for a couple of our nieces! (Check out my photo blog to see more pics, they are super adorable)! They were way easy to make and I think that they may become a new addiction for me!

Easter Egg Hunt


We celebrated an early Easter with Nate's family complete with egg coloring and an Easter Egg hunt!

Nancy's Funeral

Nate's sweet Aunt Nancy was diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer about this time last year. Although she fought a courageous battle she was called back to Heaven a few weeks ago. Her funeral was a wonderful tribute to the amazing woman that she was and she will truly be missed.






And ...


I got to walk home from work in the rain! Luckily I had an umbrella and a camera to make my walk more enjoyable!!

We are definitely looking forward to a May that includes hopefully no illness and lots of good times!!

... bowling ...

we went bowling with nate's family tonight! i didn't start off so well, but somehow i lucked out and bowled three strikes in a row - putting me in second behind the one and only nate!

we had a great time hanging out and watching the kiddos play around! as always, they were adorable and they made us giggle quite a bit!







there's something about a bowling alley that makes the good times roll!!

Spring Wreath

Apparently I am really digging the wreath's lately!! Nate is sick today (poor guy) so I spent a few minutes putting this baby together!






The example that I made this one off of had several more flowers on it, but after putting together the one I ended up using, I think that simple is better for this wreath! I was sad to take down my Valentine's Day wreath, but it's nice to have something Springy greet me when I open the door!!
