... hmmm ... for some reason blogger cut my last post off - perhaps there was just too much awesomeness there. So I'll just continue it here! Aren't you just so happy?
Medford Cruise
Just a few pics from the annual Medford Cruise ...
July Fun
So it's a little out of
order ... July was just as crazy as the rest. We took our Foster
Parenting Classes, we had a visit from our awesome friends, the Wilkies
(that will be a different post) and we moved into a bigger home in
anticipation of having a little person around!

Schmidt Vineyards
Don't hate me ... more pictures of vineyards for yet another work function! This one was a "Celebration of Success" for our Board Members & volunteers because it was truly an awesome and fantastic year!
Here are just a few pics:
My co-worker has a convertible ... whenever I get the chance, I ride with her!! :)
It really is a photographer's dream to live in such a beautiful area!
A Visit from Carl & Lynnette
We were SO excited when we received a message from Carl & Lynnette asking us if they could come down for the Labor Day weekend to hang out and to meet Freckles! We enjoyed having them here SO much! While they were here we went up to Crater Lake and one Nate's day off we drove over to Jacksonville! Their trip was much too short, but we are so grateful that they got to come and spend some time with us!
... or a catch up post, if you want to be fancy ...
Our computer is SO disorganized right now and it is driving me CRAZY! Nate has "given me the day off" and I have been in our bedroom ALL DAY (seriously, it is 2:50 p.m. and I haven't left except to go to the bathroom ... which is attached to our bedroom). It has been a much needed break and I've been able to get a lot done on the computer. My head hurts from staring at the screen, but in the name of getting things done I'm going to power through ...
Anyway - this is going to be a super random, probably lengthy post about all of the stuff that we did last year but I never got a chance to blog about ... Once I blog about them, I can move the pictures to our archives and alas, my computer will be somewhat organized again ... ahhh, that sounds nice ...
Anyway, so here goes! Enjoy! And if you make it through to the end, you deserve a cookie! Oh, and I'm trying out the galleries ... let me know if you love 'em or hate 'em! You can click on the picture to make it bigger (and then I think it should turn into a slideshow - but maybe not) ...
Rafting
Back in August, the Club went on a Staff Rafting Trip! Those of us with kiddos brought them along and aside from a few issues with Freckles, we had a great time! It was my first time down the Rogue and I can't wait to get in a raft with Nate so that he can experience it as well! Have I mentioned lately that I love my job?
2014 Art Along the Rogue
You all know how much we LOVE Art Along the Rogue every year! This year was exceptional again and it was special for us because we were able to take Freckles with us. She didn't particularly appreciate the art and the magic that was unfolding before her eyes, but she enjoyed creating her own square to contribute to the overall feel. This year's theme was "Album Covers" and the guest artist did a 3-D jukebox. It was pretty darn cool ... anyway - here are some pics:

August 2014
This was a big, big month for us. This was the month that we went from being just us two to becoming first time Foster Parents. If you haven't had the opportunity to hear how we got started, feel free to check out Operation Freckles - our "Foster Parent Journey" website ... it's a little intense, just a warning ...
Most of our August was centered around the 9 year old child who came to live with us. We can't post pictures of her face, although we have hundreds, but here is a little glimpse into what our August looked like:

Belle Fiore Dinner
I know, I know ... do I actually work at my job? A BIG part of my job is supporting our Special Events and Resource Development Directors at the functions that they create for the donors that support our Club. We had yet another dinner at a beautiful winery, seriously, we could have been in Italy for all we knew ... it is a new winery in Ashland and it was absolutely gorgeous ... here are a few pics ... (to be honest, they may just invite me along so that they'll have someone there to take pictures - although I'm not complaining)!
To say that this year has been crazy is a HUGE understatement! I could go on and on and on about everything we did this year, or I could just take the easy way out and give you a favorite moment from each month of 2014. The decision has been made ... here are our favorite moments from 2014!
January - The Barn Party
February -The Masterpiece
March - 14 Year Anniversary
April - a visit from this adorable family!!
May - Crater Lake
June - Our Trip up the Oregon Coast & Seattle

We had many other favorite moments throughout the year, it was hard to just pick one a month!
Someday I'll have this blog caught up and you'll be able to see what else we have been up to!
