Birthdays!!

It's that time of year again!! Nate & I just celebrated our 31st birthdays!! I posted below about my birthday dinner, but the festivities didn't end there! My sister Jess is here with her family (more posts about that are definitely coming) and her kiddos got pretty clever with the celebrations for both of us!!

When we got back from dinner with Nate's family for my birthday, we came back to this:


In case you can't see what it says: "Happy 75th Birthday Uncle Clar!" Aren't they funny?

And then they locked me inside until this was ready:




Yes. It is a mud cake. With rocks. And sparklers. And yes. They did make me dig for my gifts:




But it was worth it because then Ty made some tasty brownies!!


I had a great day and I'm glad that we got to spend it with both of our families!!

Nate's birthday was on Saturday! He spent the day golfing, but not taking any photos :)...

Enjoying a birthday dinner and getting sung to at Cafe Sabor where we gave Jack & Lizzie free reign of the camera again ...
