Today, when I got home from work and grocery shopping, there was a big zucchini on our doorstep. Random act of kindness? I think so! (Although I have since found out who gave it to us, it was totally random because we don't know this person well at all.)
I started thinking about other random acts I had seen throughout the day today... Nate unloaded most of the groceries when I got home without me asking him to... I got a smile at the store from a person in a motorized cart (is it stereotypical of me to think that I should have been the one smiling at them?)... I got an unexpected raise and complements at work... I had some very nice things said about photos I have taken...
These things are all very small, but in their own way made my day a better day... it got me thinking - what random acts of kindness have I given away? I'm going to be better at this - because if my day was made better by these tiny little things, I could be the person that helps to make someone else's day better...
I'm going to work on that...

How about a foot rub for your mom????Kidding. Glad you had a good day. I got 11 bags of corn from one box-I left the boxes, plus a few small potatoes etc. in the kitchen for you. The potatoes aren't quite ready-but they'll be good. Love ya,ma
Every time I look at the photo's you have taken over the years it makes me so happy. So see you do random acts of kindness every day and you don't even know it! Thanks for the inspiring blog! Love ya sis! Jen
I love that goal! I want to do that too. One little kindness at a time. Thanks for the motivation!
