... the park ...

i've been dreading this post.

i've been putting it off and putting it off

simply because these pictures are of the day

before we moved away from these kiddos that we love so much!

on our very last day we cleaned our apartment

from the very tip top to the very very bottom,

and then we went to the park to spend a little time

relaxing and playing and snuggling and laughing!

we thought that we were prepared for the goodbyes.

we've had a lot of practice because my sisters all live far away

with our precious nephews and nieces, and we have hugged them

goodbye more times than we like to acknowledge,

but 

this. was. hard.

and there were tears ... lots of them ...

and looking at these pictures still make us very homesick

for kiddos and hugs and sticky fingers and silly jokes and kisses on the cheeks ....

seriously. aren't they just adorable?  

we are the luckiest aunt and uncle 

in. the. entire. world.

dear nephews and nieces (all around the country), 

we love you and miss you so much more than you can ever imagine!

and that officially catches us up to life in oregon!!
